FilmOregon.org is the online home of Film Oregon Alliance, a nonprofit 501(c)(6) trade organization headquartered in Bend, Oregon, formed to expand film, television, radio and new media production throughout the Central Oregon region in collaboration with the Governor's Office of Film and Television as well as other film and media industry groups, agencies and organizations.

Our objectives include connecting regional industry professionals with those from within the area and beyond who will bring more production and work to the region.

Unite Facilitate lasting alliances with individuals and organizations and bring the industry's talent and resources together as an organized and accessible infrastructure.

Grow Develop a stronger industry base, attract investment to the region, create more opportunities for commercially viable projects and generate more economic activity for the region.

Educate Inspire educational outreach opportunities including lectures, seminars and hands-on workshops presented by working professionals and industry experts.

Promote Market the region's talent and resources on a global basis throughout web-based marketing and virtual showcasing to all those who make decisions on where to locate a production.

Founded in August 2007 by fellow actors Monterey Morrissey, Craig Richards and Stan Roach, Film Oregon Alliance is the first and only organization of its kind in Central Oregon. Its exclusive online Production Resources Directory serves filmmakers, production companies and others who make decisions on when and where to film a movie, produce a commercial or shoot a television series. Film Oregon Alliance constituents consist of writers, producers, directors, actors, crew, technicians, casting, makeup, wardrobe, set design, composers, visual effects, post-production, transportation, lodging, catering and the full range of other related support services.

With a keen focus on economic development, Film Oregon Alliance continues to unite, grow, educate and promote the region and its resources to attract even more projects, employ more people and create more opportunities for industry professionals to work locally.

Continuing education, mentor programs and the pursuit of craft excellence are encouraged and stimulated by Film Oregon Alliance. We are developing an extensive educational outreach program including lectures, seminars and hands-on workshops by working professionals and industry experts.

"As Oregon's newly expanded production incentives have meant increased production throughout the state, our ability to connect producers and production companies with local crew and support businesses as efficiently as possible has become increasingly important. Organizations like Film Oregon Alliance are integral to making those connections possible." – Steve Oster, Former Executive Director, Governor's Office Film and Television
